Transform your whole body skincare routine with the Dry Body Brush! This brush, made with gentle yet effective boar bristles and a sustainable wooden base, is perfectly suited for dry brushing all skin types.
Why Dry Brushing? Dry brushing removes dead skin cells and helps unclog pores, giving your skin a natural glow and helping avoid ingrown hairs. By stimulating blood circulation and promoting lymphatic drainage, dry brushing aids in the detoxification process, leaving your skin feeling fresh and revitalized. Dry brushing also stimulates the body's nervous system and promotes healthy circulation, creating a feeling of invigoration and alertness, making it the perfect way to start your day or refresh in the evening. The boar bristles, as opposed to stiffer plant-based bristles, is suitable for all skin types, promoting softer, healthier skin with regular use.
How to Use: Dry brushing is best done on dry skin before showering. Slowly and gently use the brush in long strokes towards the heart or circular motions, starting at your feet and working your way up to your arms and torso. A few overlapping swipes per area is all that's needed. Be sure to apply a nourishing moisturizer after showering.

This brush is wonderfully sustainable, with the majority being compostable and a few metal pieces recyclable!
BOAR HAIR: Boar bristles are either carefully harvested many times during a boar's life using a process similar to shearing sheep or are harvested at the end of the boar's life. The latter repurposes organic waste that would otherwise generate greenhouse gases. Both of these approaches exemplify a commitment to sustainability!
ZELKOVA: A rapidly growing deciduous tree with incredibly strong and durable wood.
Rinse the brush with clean water after every use, sometimes washing with warm water and mild soap as well. Let the brush air dry completely with the bristles facing down.
For a deep clean, fill a bowl with warm water just high enough to cover the bristles, not the wood. Add a few drops of tea tree oil and place the brush in the bowl with the bristles facing downwards. Move the brush around in the water, helping to dislodge any impurities, then let soak for 5-10 minutes. Rinse with clean water while agitating the bristles with your fingers.
Avoid fully submerging the brush or resting it in water for extended periods of time.
At the end of life, remove the metal push pin strap attachments (slide a butter knife under them to pop them out) and recycle. Cut the strap into small pieces and compost. The rest of the brush is recyclable or compostable in your municipal scrap wood or yard waste program, green bin collection, by burying in your garden or tossing in your backyard compost.
